The D1 is a lightweight Japanese designed hollow cast wheel. The hollow cast process for the spokes gives strength to the wheel but removes weight. Hollow casting technology is not new but it is new on modern road wheels. This wheel takes its name from the Japanese D1 drifting championship and is for the serious power drifter.
